FAQ

Common questions

Can I request a pest control quote yet?

Not yet. The quote panel is a preview. Nothing is sent or saved. LocalPest does not currently arrange providers, confirm prices or book inspections or treatments.

What if I don’t know which pest I have?

Describe the signs you have noticed and where they appeared. A pest professional can assess the situation and discuss suitable next steps; you do not need to identify the pest yourself.

What should I ask before treatment?

Ask about the proposed approach, which areas are included, preparation, any time away from treated areas and follow-up. Tell the professional about children, pets and any relevant household concerns, and follow the instructions they provide.

Are inspections and treatments the same thing?

No. An inspection assesses the property and signs of pest activity. Treatment is separate work that may be recommended after assessment. Confirm exactly what a quote includes.

Which locations will LocalPest cover?

Our first planned location guidance is for Brisbane. A guide does not establish service coverage or availability. Check those details directly with a provider you choose.
